Medina, Hajj Season 2024

I was fortunate to participate in Hajj with my parents during 2024, Alhumdolillah. For those that don’t know what Hajj is - it is a yearly pilgrimage to Makkah that is a significant part of Islam. The word "Hajj" is Arabic and means "to intend a journey". It's also a pious journey that Muslims take to cleanse their souls of worldly sins. The Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam. First stop was the beautiful city of Medina - safe to say it was still the best part of my trip, apart from seeing the Kaa’ba. Medina is the second holiest city to Muslims, after Makkah. For many years, it was the home of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the founder of Islam. Pictured below is Masjid-Al-Nabawi, built by the Prophet (PBUH).
