While in Denmark, I decided to take a short 8 hour day trip by bus and ferry to the south of Sweden. They picked me up about 4 stops away from my accommodation and dropped me back at the end of the day. We were able to see key parts of Copenhagen that I was not able to see before or didn’t even think to see, and then we made our way to the south of Sweden. We were given time to explore on our own which I’m grateful for as it allowed me to take as many pictures as I wanted, without feeling rushed (another reason why I loved this solo trip!). Our guide was very informative, knew a great amount of Scandinavian history, answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations for the best places to get souvenirs and where to eat!
I would definitely go back to Sweden - more so because I haven’t gotten the opportunity yet to see Stockholm or other parts of the country. In my opinion I enjoyed Sweden more than Denmark, even in the short time I was able to explore it.
