Makkah - Islam’s Holiest City
Alhumdolillah I had the opportunity to complete Hajj in the 2024 season, and the Ka’baa took my breath away as expected.
For some context, The Kaaba (pictured above), sometimes referred to as al-Ka'ba al-Musharrafa, is a stone building at the center of Islam's most important mosque and holiest site, the Masjid al-Haram (surrounded the Kaaba) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is considered by Muslims to be the Baytullah and is the qibla for Muslims around the world.

Of course, Ka'baa and behind it, the clock tower. People performing "Tawaaf" around the Ka'baa.

Morning in Muzdalifah. Muzdalifah is an open and level area near Mecca in the Hejazi region of Saudi Arabia that is associated with Ḥajj.

Some pictures of the camps we stayed in during the "Mina" portion of Hajj.

THE SHWARMA I WAS EATING EVERY SINGLE DAY AND STILL THINK ABOUT!
